EVERYTHING IS FINE!!!

Kristi was worried about me.  Emailed (or posted, more like) and asked if everything was ok, there hasn't been a blog update in like 4 days.  HAHA. 

Yes, everyrthing is ok.  I had two sessions this weekend (well, Sun and Mon) and I started to come down with some sort of illness.  Yesterday morning I woke up all dizzy and nauseous, and then in the afternoon was fine.  This morning I woke up, sore throat, stuffy head, runny nose and I got in the shower and nearly passed out.  I called into work, slept the morning away (thank God my mom lives around the block, she came and rescued Porter for an hour and then brought him back home to lay down for his morning nap). I slept until he woke from his morning nap (around 11ish) and I woke up and felt so much better. I went to teh doctor and I have a sinus infection. 

He also got on the subject of my migranes, since my blood pressure was 147/87.  He put me back on Corgard (a blood pressure med and also a beta blocker aka med for controlling migraines).  I have to go in once a week to have my BP taken and in 5 weeks I'm meeting with him again to see how its going.  I also have to start keeping track of my headaches, pain levels, things I ate/possible stimulus.  We'll see how that goes.  I can't even remember to take my daily meds, let along remember what the hell I was doing when my head started to hurt.

Halloween was good.  Porter tolerated his costume, although he wasn't all that amused with it.  We went to Grandma Mains and my mom was there, and then we stopped by my Aunt Melissa's house on the way to Ry's parents. We ate dinner at his parents house and passed out candy there.  Porter stayed up way past his bedtime, but he was a good boy all night, even in his costume. 

All the great comments from people about P's costume has got me thinking "How are we ever going to do better next year?"  I've got to think of something REALLY cute.  Ryan thought he should be a wolf and have a few chicken feathers out the side of his mouth (cute, but uh... exactly HOW are you going to keep chicken feathers on the side of a one year olds mouth??? HAHA).  Well, I have a year.

I am sick of the headaches as well (although my meds do help some)
I am stealing that pic of Porter to put on my blog with all the other kiddos.
